Antiquus Astrology
       Each significator of wealth have been taken from various authors and fathers of traditional Astrology. Many more aphorisms can be found in books sold in the Library section.

  1. The main significators of riches are the second House, the Planets placed in the second House, the Lord of the second House, Jupiter and to a lesser extent Venus.

  1. If Jupiter be well forified by benefic aspects and Planets, this is a true significator of riches and wealth.

  1. There must be an application between the Lord of the second House, the Moon, and the Lord of the first House or a Translation of light between them to indicate riches.

  1. If the Lord of the second be fortunately placed in the Ascendant without any ill aspects to the infortunes it indicates the same. Also of the Part of Fortune or Lord of the Ascendant be placed in the second House. If any or most of these happen in a chart, it is indicated that the Native will have substance. If none are found then the contrary will be so if there is no Moon in that placement.

  1. To know when riches shall befall the Native, count the Signs and degrees between the Lord of the second House and Jupiter orthe Part of Fortune. Movable signs indicate days, Common Signs months, and fixed Signs years (specifically for Horary but can be used Natally if used properly).

  1. If the Lord of the second be a fortunate Planet (Jupiter or Venus) in its Dignities the child shall be rich and have substance. If the Lord of the second be a fortunate Planet in its fall or detriment there will be a lack of substance during the first part of his life and may chance to come upon riches later which are hard gained. If the Lord of the second be an Infortunate Planet (Saturn or Mars) in its Dignities, substance will come through the significators of the Planet. If an Infortunate Planet in its fall or detriment be the Lord of the second, the native will always be poor and will lose money caused by the significations of the Planet.

  1. The Lord of the second House Peregrine the native will be poor.

  1. Look to the Lord of the Part of Fortune, if it be fortunate following the rules above, the native shall be rich without much work. If not, judge contrary.

  1. If Jupiter is aspected with the Lord of the Hour, Lord of the Nativity, the temporal lights, the tenth House, he promises riches. If he is not, he promises nothing to the native.

  1. If the significators are unfortunate, than the child cannot be rich if the tenth House does not promise the native good luck.

  1. A Planet in his own House or Exaltation or House of Joy, if not afflicted by malignant rays causes the Native to gain goods regardless if he is a significator of riches.

  1. If the Lord of the second is found in the fourth House or Jupiter, it promises the native inheritances.

  1. Any fixed star that is of the Nature of Jupiter, Venus or the temporal light, conjunct to the temporal light, Ascendant, points of the angles or the other Significators of riches of a first or second magnitude it raises the man to great estate and wealth.

  1. If the same Planet is Lord of the Ascendant and Lord of the second the native shall be covetous with his money and anything he gains, especially when the Ascendant is Capricorn.

  1. Saturn, Mars, Mercury deprave the native of riches, especially if they be out of their dignities. The Sun and Tail of the Dragon in the second House or with the Lord of the second House destroys the man; his wealth and honor, unless in at least 4 dignities or received by a benefic.

  1. If the Lord of the Ascendant has evil aspects to the Lord of the second, the second House cusp or the Part of Fortune then the native will disperse his goods.

  1. If the Lord of the Ascendant be unfortunate in the second House, the child may be too large a giver and prodigal.

  1. If an Infortune is Lord of the Ascendant within hte second House, the child will be destroyed by others, specifically within the signification of the Infortune. Robbery is very likely.

  1. Abraham Avenesre saith, that if the Lord of the second be burnt(combust) and Jupiter is evil disposed, that the child shall be always poor.

  1. Hermes saith, when the Lord of the profession shall be burnt in retrograde, in the sixth or seventh House and not any Planet regarding the Moon, the child shall seek his living from door to door like a beggar.

  1. Jupiter, Venus, and the Head of the Dragon in the second, always enrich.

  1. Venus in the fifth promiseth some good.

  1. The Sun fortunate in the ninth, gives honors from the Church and travels.

  1. Mars in the sixth well disposed, gives good nourishment to beasts and exercise of medicine.

  1. If the native be born with the Sun in Leo, he will never be poor unless by some extreme signification in the chart.

  1. Fortunate Planets in their falls or detriments, show great miseries.
